Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. We use this to identify your account and communicate with you about the service.

Screenshots and files you upload are stored securely in your personal cloud storage. We do not access, view, or analyze your content except to provide the AI-powered search and organization features you've explicitly enabled.

We collect standard usage data — such as feature interactions, session length, and crash reports — to improve reliability and performance. This data is anonymized and never linked to your content.

Your account information is used solely to operate and personalize your Helium experience. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

AI processing of your screenshots happens on-device or within your isolated cloud environment. Your content is never used to train our models or shared with other users.

We may use aggregate, anonymized usage statistics to understand how people use Helium broadly — for example, which features are most helpful — but this never includes your personal or content data.

Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 certified providers.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your content is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

We retain anonymized usage logs for up to 12 months for security and fraud prevention purposes.

Helium uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate: cloud storage providers, authentication services, and payment processors. Each is bound by data processing agreements and privacy standards consistent with this policy.

We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you across the web.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You can export your data at any time from your account settings.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of Helium after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
